When I was in Oliver I got a chance to stay up late one night to watch the full moon raise over the mountains. It was amazing how fast the moon appeared and then began to rise into the sky. It was a clear night and the July full moon was so bright. I do get to see the full moon in Macau, however, due the amount of light pollution from the surrounding casinos it is not bright. You can not tell how powerful the moon is and how much light it creates. I think that this is one of the fun things and wonders of the full moon is to realize how much light it creates in dark spaces. It is becoming harder and hard to find find dark places as more and more development brings more and more light.
