Lizard

Saturday, 8 October 2016

Little but fast. I found this little lizard and I was able to snap a photo of him before he took off on a mad dash for the safety of the grass. We had a moment of staring at each other and guessing who would move first. I am sure that this little guy was hoping that that I wouldn't spot him standing there on the sidewalk. He was absolutely still. I snapped my photo and moved away to give him a chance to escape.

I did some quick lizard research and I think this little guy is English name: Indo-Chinese Forest Lizard (aka “Blue-crested Lizard” or “IndoChinese Tree Agama”)
Scientific name: Calotes mystaceus
