I went to visit friends on the east coast of Zanzibar. The tides went out for 1-2 km so you couldn’t swim at this beach as you would have to walk way out to the sea. But the shallow water creates this beautiful light blue water as far as you can see. It was really pretty. The local women go out into this shallow water and scoop up small fish with nets.
