I went out exploring with a group of local people that like to hike at night. Due to the high temperatures during the day these hikers prefer to go out after the sun goes down. I joined them for an 8km hike in the New Territories of Kowloon. It was a great night to be out and hiking. The temperature was just right. There were also some rewarding views of the city when we got up high. We walked through a lot of spider webs with only 1 spider landing on someone's face. Aghh! I am so glad that I was not leading this hike. We went through monkey country but we didn't see or hear any monkeys. There is also suppose to be wild boar in this park but they are very shy and hard to spot in the dark. They usually keep away from hikers.
