Rain Days

We had a break from the rain so I thought I would snap this photo. I liked the blue colors. If only I could send you the smells of the incense burning and drifting out to the street. This is a little temple in Macau in Old Taipa. I had a friend come to visit me on Sunday so I was a tour guide for the afternoon. We looked at casinos, temples, parks, gardens and the local pub. It was a nice visit and it was fun to talk of old times. The weather has turned rainy and humid. It is still warm at 27c but wet and damp. All the papers taped to my classroom door have curled up in unhappiness at the damp conditions. We need the sun to come back and dry everything out.


I am sipping a love tea I got in Sabah and getting ready to tackle the BIG pile of marking in front of me. I am busy these days at school and I am amazed that time can go so fast! Only 8 more weeks of school. Scary. There is so much to do.
