2014 Rolls Along

Well, 2014 is here and rolling along. I can't believe that it is time for report cards again. Wow, I feel like I just finished report cards. The first term of high school is almost over. Just 1 more week and then we start second semester. It is like a fresh start all over again. New students, new classes and new challenges. The weather has been good here in Macau with lots of sun and any where from 10 - 18 C. It is cool in my apartment but not unbearable. January in Macau is not like back home, that's for sure. The humidity is low right now which is nice and it makes it fair more comfortable.


I thought this picture of an orchid would be appropriate for new beginnings as the orchid is a unique and beautiful flower. I am looking forward to the start of a term. It will be fun to meet some new students and to teach some new courses. I just hope it all starts very smoothly. We have Chinese New Years quickly approaching so we will soon be taking another break for this holiday.
