I am teaching a photography class right now and sometimes I find interesting shots of myself on the camera. I didn't even know my photo was being taken, although it looks like one of my student knows. He doesn't look all that happy to have his photo taken. This is shot represents my world at the moment. Back to work. It is busy in the classroom and there is lots of extra work for me with marking and reviewing photos. The good thing is that sometimes it is a surprise when I review the photos, like this one. It is like I get a little window into the inside of a high school student's brain. I get to see what they have been taking photos of and of what interests them at school. It is always unique and different. At least work isn't boring. I am challenged everyday to be faster, better, smarter and stronger. I guess that is what makes teaching so interesting. Now I have to get back work, the piles of papers on my desk are calling my name.
