Balancing Rock

We went out for a hike last weekend to see the balancing rock. This rock is sitting here on this hill side just hanging on with a few rocky bits. It is a wonder to think where this rock came from and how long it has been sitting here in the forest balancing.

It made me recognize the same balance of time that I am feeling as I count down the weeks until I am back to Macau. Time is going quickly and soon I will be packing up my car and heading off back to Saskatchewan. I have enjoyed living here in the Okanagan Valley. Today I am hiding indoors as it is 30 + outside and it is nice and cool in the house. Today I am trying to get organized and ready to pack up my stuff. I am trying to get little tasks done and out of the way. I get overwhelmed at times as I have a huge “to do” list. Yet, i try to take it just one day at a time. I guess we all need a little balance in out lives and I just have to keep a balance between relaxing and getting things done. I know that time is not on my side and I will not win the battle against time. So I just focus on each day as it comes.
