Report Cards

Wow, time is going fast. It is time for report cards again. This semester is almost over. Just 1 more week and the students write their final exams. I have mixed feelings about the change of term. It will be fun to teach some new classes and meet some new students but I will miss the comfort of the routine that has finally settled into my classroom. Next term I am teaching in 3 different rooms so I will be on the move a lot. It was relaxing to have my own room this term. I am not looking forward to the amount of work to prepare report cards. I will be busy this weekend.

It has been cold here this week. Today it was 12C Brrrrrrrr. I have thankful that I don't have supervision this week so I don't have to stand outside in the cold. It has been nice & sunny with blue sky, just really cold. Yesterday there was a cold wind blowing. Any time I had to go outside I was hustling along the hallway to get back in doors. Out school is an open hallway concept as usually it is super hot outside. The hallways are all open to the outdoors. Same with the gym and cafeteria. They both have open areas and the wind can blow right inside. Brrrrrrr. I hope it warms up tomorrow.
