Human Bodies Exhibit

Sunday, 16 December 2012

The Human Bodies Exhibit is now showing at the Venetian Casino in Macau. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go and see it as it sounded a little creepy. A bunch of students went to see it with their Science class and many people at school were talking about this exhibit. My friends convinced me that I shouldn’t be afraid of some dead bodies so I went to see the human bodies exhibit even though I was a little worried that I might get grossed out. It was strange to look at human bodies that were cut up. It was interesting and I guess it was also educational as I did learn some new things. It was a little weird out though.

As stated on the Venetian website: “Over 200 individual organs and full body specimens have been meticulously dissected, and will be respectfully displayed, offering an unprecedented and wholly unique look into your amazing body. What makes The Human Bodies Exhibition so compelling is the real dissected human bodies that have been treated by a series of chemical processes to create “Plastinates”, perfectly and permanently preserved specimens”
