While in Zhuhai we went to the seafood market to buy some fresh seafood and then we took our purchases across the street to a restaurant that cooked it all up for us. It was so fun to shop for our dinner and then get to eat it right away. We bought oysters, king prawns, scallops and sting ray. We spent about $20 Cdn to purchase our dinner. We even got to haggle for the prices and attempt to get the best deal possible. Luckily we were traveling with a fellow teacher who can speak Mandarin so he was able to get our seafood sorted out and cooked. It was a fun evening and a neat way to have a seafood dinner.
