Here are some shots from a workshop on buoyancy - what floats and what sinks? We had a team challenge to find 10 different objects that will sink or float. We had a good collection of items from around the school and the yard. This was a fun lesson with a chance to make your own boat. We started with simple paper designs and then bar was raised by one team with a fancy sail boat! Check out the winning design....So colourful and creative. Plus it floated and it even held a load when we loaded up the boat with some weights. Nice work blue team - you are on your way to becoming a buoyancy master.
