Mid-Autumn Festival 2013

The Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated with both lanterns and moon cakes. Macau becomes this colorful city decorated with lanterns and lights. Students start handing out moon cakes to all their teachers. I thought they were just little cakes but was I ever surprised when I bit into one and found that there was an hard boiled egg in the centre. Not what I was expecting at all. I have to say I am a little disappointed with moon cakes and now I have boxes and boxes of them on my desk. So I have started handing them out to the cleaner at the school, the doorman at my apt building, the taxi driver, the bus driver. This plan seems to be working as I only have 1 box left now.
