Giant Panda Park

Today I went to Coloane to visit the Giant Panda Park. I realized that I am only in Macau for 5 more days and I am running out of time to see the pandas so today I made the time to go visit the park. It only cost 10 MOP to visit the park, which is about $1.25 CDN. There are 2 giant pandas at the park. One male and one female. These photos are the male panda named Kai Kai. I spent an hour watching him eat bamboo and wonder around his enclosure. It was really interesting watching him. He was so cute. It was hard to believe he is a bear. Although when I watched him walk and climb trees he did move like a black bear.

Today, visiting the giant panda park was one of my highlights of living in Macau. It would be so cool to be able to see a giant panda in the wild. I will hope that I get a chance to see a panda in the wild someday.
